As part of a cross-country expansion of the leading seed-stage program in Canada, the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), of the Rowe School of Business, provides startups with access to a network of accomplished entrepreneurs and investors. Reporting to the Associate Director, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Venture Analyst will support the CDL Atlantic operations including venture recruiting, business development support and initiatives to support the growth and continuous improvement of the program.
Note: As dictated by business needs, occasional travel within Atlantic Canada and Ontario may be required. Evening and weekend work is also occasionally required.
Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Business or related field with 3 to 5 years of experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience) is required. Masters Degree in Business or a related field is an asset. Experience in STEM/ technology-related fields and demonstrated experience with start-ups, technology companies or venture capital would be highly preferred. Tact and diplomacy in order to build and maintain strong relationships with program participants and multiple levels of stakeholders is required. Understanding of business models and drivers of success in start-ups across several verticals is a strong asset. Strong analytical and organizational skills are required.

Salary Range: $50,240 – $67,973 per annum (ADM-05). This is a provisional classification. Formal classification procedures will be initiated by the Compensation & Job Evaluation Unit in approximately six months. This is a 2 year term position.
