For founders developing game-changing solutions for FinTech 2.0

The FinTech revolution is entering its next phase (“FinTech 2.0”) where innovation will go beyond bringing fast digital and online solutions to consumers. The Fintech Stream at CDL-Oxford operates from an ecosystem moulded at the heart of financial innovation and at the doorstep of the financial capital of the world; London.

CDL startups work with these mentors to sharpen objectives, prioritise time and resources, raise capital, and engage with experts working on the frontiers of research.

The startups attend five in-person objective-setting sessions between November and June. CDL is a non-profit organization. There are no fees for participation and CDL does not take any equity. Learn more about the CDL program.

Our Mentors

CDL mentors include accomplished entrepreneurs, experienced operators, active angel and venture investors, world-leading scientists, engineers, and economists. Mentors meet every eight weeks in Oxford to help founders set objectives over the program’s nine-month duration.

Companies accepted to the CDL FinTech Stream benefit from advice from exit entrepreneurs, industry executives, and academics who are world-leading experts in the field of FinTech. These experts meet with companies periodically to evaluate their technologies, suggest improvements, and to explore formal advising engagements.

“It is an exciting development for the future generation of fintech entrepreneurs to have a CDL FinTech stream now launching at CDL-Oxford. As a founder and now a mentor with the programme, the rigorous objectives-based mentoring process would have been a great commercialisation tool when I was building my own organisation.”
