Sebastian Becker

Moderator, Interim Co-Site Lead (Academic)

Sebastian is a professor of accounting and management control at HEC Paris. He holds a PhD from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and joined HEC Paris in 2011. His research interests include budgeting and forecasting as well as how to make organizations more agile through changes in their management processes. He also researches how corporate innovators and startups measure progress when they apply ideas from the Lean Startup such as testing and validation. Whilst also teaching in master, Ph.D., and online programs, he focusses on the MBA and EMBA level where he delivers courses on business performance management and entrepreneurship. He also designs and delivers executive level seminars for large international corporations from Europe, the Middle East, and China.
