Niels Schneider

Senior Venture Manager

Niels is a Senior Venture Manager for CDL-Oxford’s Climate and Health stream. Before joining CDL, Niels worked at the University of Bristol where he researched sustainability driven entrepreneurship and eco-innovation. Niels is author of the book “Ecopreneurship: Business practices for a sustainable future”, which holds a summary of the research findings. Prior to doing his PhD, Niels worked for a German Adtech Start-Up where he built one of the business units and took on the role of Head of Finance. Niels is passionate about Entrepreneurship as a force for good and all things sustainability. He holds a PhD and MSc in Management from the University of Bristol and a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Cologne.
