Dhwani Patel
Dhwani is a Senior Venture Manager at Creative Destruction Lab – Vancouver. Dhwani has garnered over nine years of experience in the life sciences. Her background lies in academia where she spent her PhD and postdoctoral position, researching the genomics of the fungal pathogen of canola. Most recently, in her role as field application scientist she worked with cutting-edge genomic and automation technologies on a daily basis. Some of these were instrumental in ramping up covid testing across Canada during the pandemic. Dhwani has completed her B.Biotech (Hons) specializing in microbiology and PhD from the University of Queensland, Australia.
