The Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) – Rockies in the Haskayne School of Business invites applications for a Senior Consultant, Recruitment. This Full-time Fixed Term position is for approximately 1 year (based on length of grant funding), with the possibility of extension.
The Creative Destruction Lab Rockies (CDL – Rockies) is a unique cohort-based university-linked new venture accelerator program at the Haskayne School of Business. CDL – Rockies helps innovators transition from science projects to high-growth companies, inviting some of the world’s top, early state high technology ventures to Calgary for this innovative 9-month program. After a rigorous application and selection process, the CDL – Rockies program engages senior entrepreneurial leaders (G7 Fellows and Associates) as well as noted scientists, strategists, economists, investors and business-school students in support of new venture founders with a goal to prepare these founders for seed stage financing and accelerated growth.
The CDL – Rockies is a high priority and high-profile initiative for the Haskayne School Business and the University of Calgary. Program outcomes can be expected to have a significant impact on Haskayne and UCalgary’s public profile and standing in the eyes of Universities, the startup & technology sector, and the general public in Canada, the US and Europe. In accordance with its agreement with the CDL at the Rotman School of Management, CDL – Rockies has committed to ambitious multi-year targets for equity value. If successful, CDL – Rockies will complement and enhance the other centres of innovation at the University of Calgary and in the community, and will create significant regional economic impact.
Reporting to the Site Lead, the Senior Consultant: Recruitment and Development is a key member of the CDL – Rockies team and is responsible for the following key areas:
