Saïd Business School, Park End Street, Oxford
Grade 7: £32,817 – £40,322 p.a
An exciting opportunity is available to join the Entrepreneurship Centre (EC) at Saïd Business School as Programme Manager. The Entrepreneurship Centre supports Saïd Business School students and alumni in pursuing their entrepreneurial ambitions, through experiential learning, thought leadership and access to relevant networks.
This role will be heavily involved in our newest entrepreneurial initiative: The Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) – Oxford. The Creative Destruction Lab, originally conceived at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, is one of the world’s premier seed stage programmes for massively scalable science-based ventures. Oxford is the first site outside of North America to offer the CDL programme and will initially focus on the area of Artificial Intelligence.
The postholder will be mainly responsible for managing the CDL – Oxford Student Programme and for setting up the High School Girls Programme for CDL – Oxford. Working closely with the site academic lead at Oxford Saïd, Professor Thomas Hellmann, the postholder will help convert the student programme from a co-curricular to a curricular programme.
Reporting to the Entrepreneurship Centre’s Networks and Partnerships Manager, the postholder will play a key role to help foster the best possible relationships with EC stakeholders, most notably alumni, but also close collaborators of the Entrepreneurship Centre and potential donors.
The successful candidate will have experience in starting and managing programmes in complex organisational environments and proven alumni relations and/or stakeholder relationship management. You will be a self-starter with initiative to work as part of a small team that manages a diverse workload and will have an interest in entrepreneurship education.
