Dr. Vipan Nikore is the Chief Medical Director of TD Bank globally, Site Medical Director for the Department of Medicine at Trillium Health Partners Credit Valley Hospital, and a practicing internist at Trillium and Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Ohio and Toronto. He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine where he teaches Leadership and Emotional Intelligence, is an investigator at the Institute for Better Health, and previously was co-course director for MIT’s Global Health Informatics course where co-edited one of the first comprehensive Global Health Technology books.
Dr. Nikore is the founder of the startup Homecare Hub, and as a medical student founded the youth empowerment non profit uFLOW (now LYFE) which he expanded to multiple cities across the US. He is a former IBM software developer and has also led projects at the WHO in Switzerland, the Ontario Ministry of Health, UNICEF, Sun Microsystems, Citibank, UCLA, and the venture capital firm Lux Capital. He completed his internal medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic, MD at the University of Illinois-Chicago, MBA at Yale, and BSc in computer science and software engineering at the University of Western Ontario. He is a former winner of Canada’s top 40 under 40 award.
