Uriel Perez is a Venture Analyst with the CDL-Rockies team. Throughout his academic career he has been involved in leadership roles with organizations that promote health such as Reforming Education on Drugs (RED). This club was recognized as “Club of the Year” for their innovative approach to combatting adolescent drug use. Additionally, Uriel diversified his skill set by operating his own painting franchise. Through this franchise, he developed his marketing and project management skills and generated over $85,000 in total revenue – while being a full-time student.
Uriel continues to seek roles that require organization and innovative thinking. Additionally, for his Master of Biomedical Technology project, Uriel is excited to develop a therapeutic for Acute Ischemic Stroke and pitch his ideas to investors in the biotechnology field. These are the types of impactful projects he would love to be involved with in the future.
Uriel holds a BHSc (Hon) in Biomedical Sciences and is currently pursuing a Master of Biomedical Technology from the University of Calgary.
