Sutha Kamal helps make frontier technologies (like AI, AR, and blockchain) relevant to today’s business, through partnerships, in-house R&D M&A, and strategic investments and relationships.
At Technicolor, he was a corporate CTO, with a strategy and corporate development slant. He led their entrance into VR and AR, as well as brought recent AI technologies into the business (e.g., deep neural networks applied to help artists become more creative), both with internal teams and external partners.
Previously, he was the founder and CEO of Massive Health (acquired), the first digital health startup backed by investors like Greylock Partners and Andreessen Horowitz. Before that, he led product at Nanigans and Transgaming Technologies (acquired: NVIDIA).
A native Torontonian, he lives in San Francisco with his wife and two young children.
