A high-performing sales leader, Richard McInnis has more than 15 years of proven results for global technology companies in Canada and the US with experience in leading all sales and business development initiatives specializing in establishing new markets and territories. Returning to Salesforce after spending time with a startup focused on social selling, Richard took on a role leading global sales for Salesforce’s Social Studio.
During his initial time at Salesforce.com, he spearheaded growth of their marketing products with Fortune 500 companies. He came to Salesforce.com through the acquisition of Radian6. As the first sales professional at Radian6, Richard grew the business from zero customers to over 2000 top brands. He also built and led the first sales teams. Prior to Radian6, he achieved success with B2B software companies focused on the telecom and construction industries.
Richard started his sales career even before graduation as the most successful media sales person in the history of his university’s newspaper. Sales process and analytics are also a passion for Richard, and he leads with a metrics- and process-driven approach that achieves results.
