Nancy Peters owned and operated an integrated cattle ranch that evolved into caring for the bucking horses of the Calgary Stampede’s breeding program. Independent of the ranch, she operated a small investment company as well as a shallow gas company in southern Alberta. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to serve on multiple boards with varied fields of interest.
Nancy continues to live on and maintain her ranch as well as chair a family charitable trust. She believes that agriculture is faced with balancing tradition with change and believes that product demand, security of supply, weather extremes, politics, and technology are influencers on an industry that is anything but nimble.
Nancy has three daughters and six grandchildren and has retired from active business.
