Mina Mitry is the co-founder and CEO of Kepler Communications, a space telecommunications company that provides connectivity for terrestrial and space assets. He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto. Prior to Kepler, he helped build and scale two startups, teaBOT and Brizi. In pursuit of a greater challenge, he co-founded Kepler Communications in 2015 with the ultimate objective of bringing internet to space. Mina has led Kepler to design, build and launch its first satellite in a span of only 12 months, which was the first of its kind in the world. In 2018, Kepler was named one of the Top 10 Most Innovative Space Companies in the world by Fast Company.
