Michael Harries is a technologist, investor, and advisor focused on early stage-commercialization of deep technologies, particularly AI and robotics.
Michael was most recently CTO of Kyndi Inc, a quantum-inspired natural language understanding company and part of the 2016 CDL cohort. He is currently an advisor to Kyndi and consults with an early-stage AI and robotics fund. From 2011 to 2016, Michael was founder and CTO for Citrix Startup Accelerator, an industry-leading enterprise accelerator focused on discontinuous innovation in the enterprise infrastructure space. During this time, Michael identified, funded, and coached 31 companies across product strategy, customer validation, technology, and more. Many of these ventures leverage AI/ML technologies, including Wise.io (machine learning, acquired by GE), UpGuard (devops and security), NMLStream (devops forecasting), TidalScale (inverse virtualization); Graymatics (image/video classification), WhoKnows (automated interest profile), Incoming Media (optimized mobile data delivery), and Kyndi. Michael earned his PhD in AI at the University of New South Wales in Australia.
