Jun is a scientist, entrepreneur, and investor passionate about human and planetary health. She is the Chief Science Officer and a Partner at IndieBio where her role includes advising companies, program operations, making investment decisions, and fostering community internally and externally.

Previously Jun has worked in several startups in the fields of immuno-oncology, protein engineering, lab automation robotics, CRISPR, and precision medicine. She also co-founder two companies, MYi Diagnostics and Discovery which was developing a next-generation multiplex proteomics profiling technology for precision medicine, and Biochemies which designed and commercialized science toys for education and outreach.

Jun has a PhD in Chemical Biology from The Scripps Research Institute where she focused on immuno-oncology and directed evolution, and a BS in Biochemistry from Indiana University.
