As a heart surgeon at the Libin Cardiovascular Institute, Jehangir founded and directed new programs in artificial heart surgery and thoracic aortic surgery based on the pillars of Clinical Excellence, Innovation, Research and Education. He has developed a national and international reputation as a thought leader, and has over 50 peer reviewed publications and over 100 scientific presentations.

Post secondary training of 16 years included B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Medical School at McGill University in Montreal, Cardiac Surgical training at U of Alberta in Edmonton, followed by fellowships at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, England and University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Jehangir has transitioned from clinical surgery to focus on Research, Consultancy, Angel Investing & Mentorship where he can use his expertise in the healthcare space to have a meaningful impact. He is a member of CDL Rockies in addition to CDL West.
