Eric Brat is a member of the faculty at HEC Montréal as an adjunct professor of management. Previously, he was a senior partner and managing director of the Boston Consulting Group. He joined the Boston Consulting Group in 2002 as a core member of BCG’s financial institutions and insurance practices. In these areas, he led major transformation programs and M&A and integration projects. He also led BCG initiatives in the area of big data for the insurance practice. In 2012, he was a founder of the BCG office in Montreal. Before that, he was a director of Credit Suisse Group, associate partner of Accenture, and vice president with Oliver Wyman – Mercer Management Consulting. He is also a regular angel investor. He graduated from the École de Commerce Solvay in Brussels, Belgium, holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York, is a chartered financial analyst, and is a member of the CFA Institute.
