Prof. Krubasik is Chairman of the Industry Advisory Board of the Munich School of Robotics and Machine Intelligence, one of the largest European R&D centers in this field. He has served for 10 years on the Siemens Executive Board responsible for the Industrial Automation and Mobility Businesses and Central Technology. Earlier he was Director at McKinsey & Company, Inc. where he has been leading the Global Innovation and Technology Practice. He has served in non-executive director positions in Germany, France, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, USA, Japan. Has also served as advisor for startup companies and is a juror for the annual Bavarian Business Plan Competition. He has served as President of ZVEI(Electrical Industry Association/Frankfurt, Orgalime (EU Engineering Industries)/Brussels, DPG(German Physical Society)/Berlin. He has been teaching at Technical University of Munich and at INSEAD/Fontainebleau for many years. He holds a PhD in nuclear physics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau.
