Andrea Heyer

Project Coordinator

With training in project management and Lean Process Improvement, Andrea has worked in administration at Dalhousie University for over 10 years.  Prior to joining CDL-Atlantic, she held the position of administrative & operations manager for the Office of the Associate Vice-President Academic.  During this period, she was part of the first cohort on implementing Lean Process Improvement at Dalhousie, whereby she co-led a team on analyzing and developing strategic improvements for the Faculties’ New & Major Modified Academic Program Proposal process.

Andrea’s start up experience started after studying biology, where should found herself in Quebec City learning French, and working in sales and marketing first at Biotepp, a biopesticide company and then at Optelvision (now Optel Group), a vision inspection company.
