Trevor Hennigar, P.Eng, MBA, is COO of Rimot.io, a prior graduate of CDL-Atlantic that integrates the latest Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies into turnkey remote monitoring solutions for wireless infrastructure and screening of people for indicators of illness.
Most recently, Trevor was President of Hawthorne Capital Inc., a private firm investing in small and medium sized enterprises with ties to Atlantic Canada. Hawthorne is part of a group of privately held companies built from the successes of the late R.A. Jodrey.
Prior to his role with Hawthorne, Trevor played an integral role in the development, engineering and construction of numerous wind energy projects across the region including the 102MW South Canoe Wind Farm in western Nova Scotia.
Trevor holds a MBA from Queen’s University and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Dalhousie University. He is an active participant and supporter of the start-up ecosystem in Atlantic Canada.
