Ms. Ell holds over 25 years of broad-based executive experience working with multi-billion dollar, start-up, and mid-market companies in diverse industries, specifically in technology and agri-food manufacturing.

Her most recent position was as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer for AgJunction Inc., a global leader of advanced guidance and autosteering solutions for precision agriculture applications. Before AgJunction, Ms. Ell was President of Agristar Inc., an Agri-food manufacturing company that sold potato granules globally and sold fresh potatoes domestically to all major food retailers. During her tenure with Agristar, Ms. Ell led the company through a CCAA financial restructuring to profitability within two years and to sale in nine years.

Currently, Ms. Ell is the founder and president of Growing Ideas, a business consulting practice where she works with business leaders to help construct processes for strategic execution and provides leadership development training. Ms. Ell is also a Chair with TEC-Canada, where she leads a select group of CEOs through confidential peer advisory forums and provides one-to-one executive coaching. Ms. Ell is board chair for AgJunction Inc. (TSX: AJX), a board director for Sundial Growers Inc. (Nasdaq: SNDL), and a board director for the Sawridge Group Holdings Ltd. She is a director of two Canadian Federal Departmental Audit Committees-Crown Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada and Indigenous Services Canada. Ms. Ell’s prior board positions include Calgary Coop, UFA Cooperative, Wild Rose Brewery, Alberta Food Processors Association, and Canadian Food Innovators food processing science cluster.

She holds a Bachelor of Management, is a Certified Public Accountant and has also received her ICD.D in Board Governance from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
