Ademola Adekunle is a Research Officer in the Energy, Mining, and Environment Research Center of the National Research Council of Canada. His main research interests/activities span environmental monitoring, remediation, technology development/validation, wastewater treatment and reuse, renewable energy, and bioprocesses control. Other emerging interests and activities involve the utilization of artificial intelligence in environmental technologies and applications. His research has been published in several international peer-reviewed journals. He is a reviewer for several international journals and routinely serves as a technical review expert for environmentally-focused technologies in Canada. He has received several awards for his works and contributions and, most recently, was an Environmental Career Organization Canada Impact award finalist in 2020.
Ademola obtained his Ph.D. and Masters in Bioresource Engineering from McGill University, Canada. He is also an experienced business development analyst and project manager. He enjoys cycling and is an avid soccer player in his free time.
