The Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), is a not for profit organisation that delivers an objectives-based programme for massively scalable, seed stage, science- and technology-based companies. The programme has created more than $4.9bn (£3.7bn) in equity, targeting ventures that have the potential to transform our social, industrial and economic landscape.
Originally conceived at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management in 2012, there are now nine CDL programmes based at leading business schools globally. CDL-Oxford opened as the first site outside of North America in 2019, based at Saïd Business School, CDL-Oxford concentrates on the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Health.
The Programme Manager, Partnerships, will assume responsibility for supporting the CDL-Oxford relationship management programme with key funding partners. This role will work closely with the Director of CDL-Oxford in designing, executing and managing fundraising initiatives and operations, to secure Government and Corporate funding, as well as philanthropic support for the agreed priorities of the centre. S/he will be supporting the Director, in the procurement and effective delivery of an income of between £2-3m per annum.
The post holder will serve as a liaison between CDL-Oxford and the Development and Alumni Relations Department, with dashed-line reporting to the latter.
