Position Title: Developer, CDL at Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto
Location: Toronto, Ontario
The Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) is a seed-stage program for massively scalable science-based technology start-ups. This nine-month program – structured around five summit-type meetings – pairs start up founders with experienced entrepreneurs and investors who set focused, measurable objectives to achieve over fixed timelines.
The CDL-AI project centres around research-based methods to measure and predict the likelihood of start-up success.
Under the direction of the Research and Development Lead, the Developer is required to research and implement a diverse range of algorithms and modules within the project pipeline. The ideal candidate will quickly and effectively synthesize existing research and novel ideas into functioning, deployment-ready code with minimal oversight. Due to the ambitious nature of the project, the developer must be comfortable applying innovative ideas on the leading edge of machine learning.
This is a 6-month contract position.
