CDL charges no fees and takes no equity. Companies from around the world can apply to any of CDL’s 16 locations across 10 countries.

Since its launch in 2012, more than 7,500 founders representing over 4,000 ventures have participated in CDL’s mentorship program. Over 1,700 companies have graduated from CDL and generated over CAD $60B in equity value.

Applications close on July 24, 2026 at 11:59PM ET. A few programs have earlier deadlines:

  • CDL Defence Nurture eligibility deadline: May 10, 2026
  • CDL Defence final deadline: June 15, 2026
  • CDL Quantum Bootcamp final deadline: June 21, 2026
